Terms of Use
Last updated October 13, 2026
These terms cover your use of Money Ready on the web and in our apps. By creating an account or using Money Ready, you agree to them. If you are under 18, please read them with a parent or guardian.
Who can use Money Ready
You can sign up on your own if you are 13 or older. Students under 13 can use Money Ready only through a class set up by their school. Teachers and school staff use Money Ready on behalf of their school.
Education, not advice
Money Ready is for learning. Lessons, examples, numbers and recommendations are general education. They are not personal financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and they don't recommend any specific product, account, company or security. Rules and numbers like tax brackets and contribution limits change, so check current figures before making a real decision, and talk to a qualified professional about your situation.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in secure and don't share your account
- Give accurate information, including your age range
- You can delete your account at any time from the Me tab
Using it the right way
Don't misuse Money Ready. That includes trying to break or overload the service, accessing accounts or data that aren't yours, scraping it, or using it to harass anyone.
Free for students
The student experience is free. If we ever offer paid features, we will tell you clearly before you are charged anything, and nothing you already have for free will be taken away without notice.
Our content
The lessons, missions, questions, Finn the Fox and the Money Ready name belong to us. You can use them for your own learning and in your classroom. Please don't copy or resell them.
Changes and availability
We are always improving Money Ready and may change or remove features. We may update these terms; if a change is meaningful we will tell you in the app first. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers
Money Ready is provided as is. We work hard to keep lessons accurate and the service running, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on what you learned.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
